  2. Installation of TeamSpeak

    1. Click the appropriate link below to Download the most current version of TeamSpeak®, and save the download file to your desktop.
    2. Double-Click the downloaded file on your desktop to begin the installation of the client software.
    3. Test your TeamSpeak® installation for FREE. If you have successfully downloaded and installed TeamSpeak Client per the instructions in Step A, Click on the link below to automatically connect to our 'Brandywine IT Services Public Test Server'.

  3. Set-up a TeamSpeak Connection in the TeamSpeak Client Software

Use the graphic above in the process steps below
(Click the graphic to view a larger version)

    1. Start the TeamSpeak client software and click on CONNECTION, and select CONNECT from the drop-down menu. You should see a window open which looks similar to the graphic above.

    2. RIGHT-CLICK in the white area of the window, and select ADD SERVER from the pop-up menu.

    3. In are 1 (see #1 in graphic above) type a name for the server connection (it can be anything you want)

    4. In area 2 (see #2 in graphic above), enter your server address and Port information as it appears in your welcome letter (cut and paste works best). NOTE: Make sure you don't have a space before OR after the server address, and please do not forget the ':' separating the DNS name and the Port number.

    5. In area 3 (see #3 in graphic above), enter ANY nickname you wish to use. NOTE: You CAN NOT leave this field blank. If you are the Server Administrator/Owner, and you were given an Administrator username and password, perform the following step, otherwise continue to Step #9.

    6. In area 4 (see #4 in graphic above), click the REGISTERED bullet.

    7. In area's 5 and 6 (see #5 and 6 in graphic above), enter your Administrator username and password as given to you in your Welcome E-Mail. Proceed to Step #10.

    8. In area 4 (see #4 in graphic above), bullet the ANONYMOUS radio button. NOTE: Only registered users may choose the Registered radio button and only if they have already registered a login account on the server.

    9. Enter your TeamSpeak server's password (not shown in the graphic above) if the server requires one. NOTE: If the server does not require a password, leave this box blank.

    10. In area 7 (see #7 in graphic above),  check the AUTO-RECONNECT checkbox. NOTE: This ensures that if your connection drops for poor bandwidth, you will automatically reconnect to your server when bandwidth becomes available again.

    11. Review the connection information you have entered in the steps above insuring all is correct. When you are certain all of the information is correct, click the CONNECT button to connect to your server.

    12. You should now connect to your TeamSpeak server, and you should hear 'link engaged' from your speakers or headset.

The settings described below are NOT REQUIRED, but are presented here for informational purposes.

    1. NOT REQUIRED: In area 8 (see #8 in graphic above), enter the channel name (exactly as it appears on the server) of the channel you want to go to directly when you log in. NOTE: This is used to bypass the servers default channel and go directly to an alternate channel.

    2. NOT REQUIRED: In area 9 (see #9 in graphic above),  enter the sub-channel name (exactly as it appears on the server) of the sub-channel you want to go to directly when you log in. NOTE: This is used to bypass the servers default channel and go directly to an alternate sub-channel.

    3. NOT REQUIRED: In area 10 (see #10 in graphic above), enter the channel or sub-channel password, if that channel or sub-channel has one assigned.
